Application:

It is an ester compound and can be used as a reagent for modifying histidine and tyrosine in diethyl pyrocarbonate. It is also a chemical modifier for RNase. It reacts with the imidazole ring of histidine, the active group of RNase, to inhibit RNase activity.
Diethyl pyrocarbonate can be used for RNA extraction in biological experiments.
Diethyl pyrocarbonate is an organic ester compound that can be used as a modification reagent for His and Tyr residues in proteins; a durable probe used for structural cleavage in dsDNA, which partially or fully reacts with Chemicalbook non-stacking alkali; used as an antibacterial Additives, ribonuclease inhibitors, histidine residue modifiers, and reagents for converting imines to carbamates.
